Michael Justin McDonald

Michael Justin McDonald, 44, of Lee County, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Willson Hospice House. 

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday June 17, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Dr. Wm E. “Butch” Knight will officiate. 

Born in Albany, Justin graduated from Lee County High School where he played Varsity Baseball.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Albany and an avid outdoorsman. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvin “Mac” and Myrtice McDonald. 

Survivors include his sons, Ethan McDonald, Commerce, GA, Camden McDonald, Leesburg, parents, Mike and Becky McDonald, Lee County, brother Derek McDonald, Leesburg, aunts, Kay McDonald, Albany, Debra Cleveland (Wayne), Baconton, GA, Tamie Holman (Jay), Jakin, GA, uncle, David Tucker (Beverly), Bainbridge, GA, and maternal grandparents, Ed and Betty Tucker, Colquitt, GA. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
