Michael J. Barfield

Michael J. Barfield, 61, of Lee County, GA, died December 9, 2024 at The Willson Hospice House. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Michael was born in Chicago, IL on February 13, 1963 to Daniel and Shirley Barfield. He moved with his family to Terrell County, GA when he was thirteen years old. He was employed with Nations Pest Control for many years and loved old cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Antoinette Barfield.

Survivors include his siblings, Loretta (Stephen) Kariwiec of Niles, IL, Larry (Pam) Barfield of Douglas, GA, Debbi Banks of Camilla, GA, and Sheryl (Tommy) Snell of Perry, GA, his ex-wife, Danette “Dee” Cooper and a stepson, Will Cooper both of Lee County, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
