Michael Bailey

Michael Bailey, 57, of Morgan, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation.

His graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2026 at Milford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Colquitt, Mr. Bailey was a 1986 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School. He served in the United Stated Air Force. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, loved to work in his yard and vegetable garden. He also helped a lot of Family & Friends when he was younger.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Bailey Johnson, uncles, Jimmy Pat Bailey and Albert Joe Bailey.

His survivors include his sisters, Christi Houck (George), Madison, FL, Leola White Hill, Louisville, Ky, Leagh Williamson (Will) Colquitt, GA brothers, Melvin Rathel, Jr. Lexington, KY, David Johnson, Albany, aunt, Marie Sellars (John), Lee County, uncle, William Bailey, Albany, cousin, Ann Verner (Hut), Fortson, GA, niece, Laurel Hill and nephews, Jaxin Rathel, Chance Johnson and Aaron Johnson. He also had a lot of cousins on Peace, Collins and Bailey sides of family.
