Melissa Janel Clark

Melissa Janel Clark, 39, of Albany, GA passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta. The family will receive visitors Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home, Dr. David Benton will officiate.

A native and resident of Albany, GA., Ms. Clark was employed with Wal-Mart before her illness and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Putney.

Survivors include two daughters, Miranda Janel Clark and Morgan Raye Clark of Albany, GA, her parents, Joe and Vernice Hastings, Sr., of Albany, GA one brother, Joe Hastings, Jr., (Angie) of Albany, GA, two sisters, Teresa J. Townsend, (Barry) of Albany, GA and Sheila J. Torongeau (Lyle) of Huntsville, AL, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

The family is at the residence of Joe and Vernice Hastings, 1303 Baker Ave., Albany, GA, 31707.
