Mavis Claire May

Mavis Claire (Hatcher) May 78, of Albany, GA died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Pruitt Healthcare Nursing Home. The family will receive friends at Debra May's home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of GA, born to the late Jesse G. Hatcher, Mrs. May grew up in Alma, GA and graduated from High School. She had lived in Camilla, GA 10 years, after relocating from Camilla, GA she moved to Albany, GA where she worked for Procter and Gamble.

Survivors include her mother Sarah Grace Hatcher, two sons Rick May of Leesburg, GA Larry May of Albany, GA, two daughters Kathy (Edwin) Gregory of Cordele, Debra May of Doerun, seven grandchildren Alicia Jackson Hendrix of Cordele, Jay Jackson of Milledgeville, Jeremy Wages of Doerun, Sean May of Winder, Amanda May of Las Vegas, NV, Justin May of Albany, Kris May of Leesburg. Eight great grandchildren Casey Tanner of Milledgeville, Ashlyn Jackson of Cordele, Sarah May of Winder, London May of Winder, Seven May of Las Vegas, Javon May of Las Vegas, Cooper May of Albany, Anniston Wages of Camilla.
