Matthew Wilson

Matthew Quinton Wilson, 45, of Dawson, died Monday, April 6, 2026 in Valley, AL.

His memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the residence of his grandmother, Pat Bessey, 130 Airstrip Rd, Dawson, GA.

Born in Winter Park, FL, Matthew was employed by Dematic at Google as an Automation Tech Supervisor. In his free time, he liked playing video games, build Star Wars Legos and help his Grammy on the farm. He enjoyed taking his nephew to theme parks. He had a passion for roller coasters that started when he was 4 years old.

Survivors include his mother, Kris Holton Wilson, his father Scot Wilson (Gayle), grandmother, Pat Bessey, brother, Zachary Wilson, step brothers, Mitchell Wunner, Jason Wunner, Dillan Wunner, nephews Xavier, Caleb and Niko. Also surviving are uncles, Mike Wilson, Brian Wilson, Patrick Holton, aunt Brenda Harris and a host of cousins.
