Mary Anne Poole

Mary Anne Poole, 76, of Lee County, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Father Jay Weldon will officiate.

Born in Albany, GA to the late Janie Parrish Poole and Paul C Poole Sr., Ms. Poole graduated from Albany High School in 1956. Ms. Poole was employed with the Albany Herald and retired after twenty five years of service. She was a member of Lutheran Church of our Savior.

Survivors include a brother Clint (Shirley) Poole of Lee County, a niece, Kelea (Scott) Buchanan of Charlestown, SC, a nephew, Jerry (Missy) Johnson of Lee County, her great nieces, Genie Grace Buchanan and Mary Claire Buchanan both of Charlestown, SC, Ashleigh Johnson, of Albany, GA, and a great nephew, Jerimey Johnson of Albany, GA.
