Mary Louise Long

Mary Louise Long, 89, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Hagadorn and Rev. T.J. Mauldin will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Concord, NC, Mrs. Long had resided in Worth Co., GA and Albany, GA for a number of years. She was a home maker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Venis Odell Burris and Amanda H. Burris, her husband, Clyde George Long and a grandson James Scott Starnes.
Survivors include two sons, James D. (Danny) Starnes and his wife Faye, Albany, GA, Larry W. Starnes and his wife Nancy, a brother, Warren Burris all of Concord, NC, five grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
