Martha Jo Brown

Martha Jo Brown, 78,of Abany, GA passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. 

Born in Birmingham, Al, Mrs, Brown had resided in Albany, Ga since she was two years old. She was retrired from News America Marketing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Courter and Ollie Coker Courter. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children, Sheri L. Boyd, Albany, GA and Stacey Lea Dugger (Daniel), Crestview, FL, brother, Stan Courther (Elaine), Rome, GA, sisters, Ann Means, Atlanta, GA, Kathy Merritt, Millbrooke, AL, one grand-daughter, Renee Carnley and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
