Marie Tripp

Maria Tripp went to be with Jesus and His angels yesterday. She was 100 yrs. old. She lived at the Oaks at Oakland Plantation for the last 4 years. She was kind, humble, and had a remarkable positive attitude. If you knew her, you were her friend, and you were blessed. 

She had a strong faith in Jesus. She was a founding member of Radium Springs Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School there for many years. 

She was married to Ray Tripp (deceased) for 55 yrs. They had three children: Bobby, Susie (Greg), and Mike (deceased), 5 grandchildren: Julie  (Matt), Kevin Simons (Nita), Wally Serena Simons (Jeff), Sarah Blevins (Mark), Chris Tripp (Jamie),  nine great-grandchildren,  a special friend and family member, Davin Hotty Still. She also had a Faithful friend and caregiver, Cathy.

The family would to thank the staff and her friends at the Oaks and Oakland Plantation for their wonderful care and compassion.
