Marie Elizabeth Jefferson

Marie Elizabeth "Bonnie" Jefferson, 70, of Albany, GA, died Friday November 21, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services were held Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Dr. William D. “Biff” Coker officiated.

Born in Portsmouth, VA, Mrs. Jefferson was a retired staffing specialist with Manpower, she was a founding member of the Albany Symphony Orchestra where she was a violinist, and she was a graduate of Albany High School, a minority owner of The Albany Journal and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Thomas L. "Tom" Knighton, Jr. and his wife Jennifer and two grandchildren, Robert William Knighton and Audrey Marie Knighton all of Albany, GA
