Marie Bryant

Wilma Marie Bryant of Albany, GA died Monday, May 20, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Lisa A. Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Worth County.

Born in Oakfield, GA to the late Robert and Nellie Powell, Mrs. Bryant was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. She enjoyed arts, crafting and crocheting. Mrs. Bryant was also a talented painter and was good at anything she did. 

In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Billy Bryant and Dottie Bailey.

She is survived by her husband James Bryant, a daughter Rhonda Webb (James). Her brothers Billy Denby and David Denby, a sister Silvia Summers, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
