Mrs. Fullerton was born on October 22, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Rex King and Mary Edge King. In 1960, Margie met the love of her life, Larry Fullerton. The two were married on July 15, 1961, and shared 61 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and unwavering devotion to one another. A member of Sherwood Baptist Church, Margie lived her life guided by her Christian faith. She retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service with the Marine Corps Logistics Base, where she worked in the Budget and Accounting Department.
Margie was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had a lifelong passion for genealogy and spent countless hours researching her family's history, preserving stories and connections that will be treasured by generations to come. She found great joy in uncovering her family's heritage and sharing it with those she loved. Above all, Margie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Fullerton, and a sister Alice R. Jeffery.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael "Mike" Glenn Fullerton of Albany, Georgia, and Robert "Robby" Douglas Fullerton (Kimberly) of Marietta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Whitney Leigh Fullerton of Memphis, Tennessee, Baker Allen Fullerton of Marietta, Georgia, and Elizabeth Banks Fullerton of Marietta, Georgia; one great-granddaughter, Virginia Grace Dean; two sisters, Dianna Mary and Betty Joyce Belshoy, both of Jacksonville, Florida.
The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
