Margaret Langford Rowe, 88, of Albany, GA passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Oaks at Suwanee Creek, Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Walden Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, Albany, GA with Rev. Jim Morrow. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Bainbridge, GA, Margaret grew up attending Byne Memorial Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there for many years. Later, she joined First United Methodist Church of Albany, GA and service as a Sunday School teacher there as well. Her love for the Lord was her greatest gift that she willingly shared with everyone she met. Her quick wit was a true gift as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Calvin Langford and Mattie Lee Cooper Langford, her husband, Jacob Benjamin Rowe, and her siblings, Bill Langford, Edith McMillian and Jeannette Cosey.
Survivors include her children, Harry R. Rowe (Mandy), St. Augustine, FL, Jill R. Harrison, (Robin), Sugar Hill, GA. Richard B. Rowe (Susan), Greenville, SC, grandchildren, Mallory D. Givens, Kayla Cosby (Ryan), Rebecca Harrison, Thomas Harrison (Rachel), Elizabeth Harrison, Amanda King (Carson), Emily Rowe, Emily Alexander (Justin) and
great-grandchildren, Lilli Anne Cosby and Benjamin Cosby.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Walden Chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Albany, GA.
