Mack Day Haynes

Mack Day Haynes, 77 of Leesburg, GA., Died April 20, 2022 at Willson Hospice House.  Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Leesburg Cemetery.  Ross Powell will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday at the Cemetery.

Mr. Haynes was born September 22, 1944 in Shellman, GA., son of the late Ronnie Haynes and Irene Nazworthy Barrett.  He was previously employed with Flint River Textiles and also Schuff Steel.  Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Downs Haynes, his step-father Emory A. Barrett, sister Joyce Spargo and his great-grandchild Koltyn Phillips.

He is survived by his daughter Laura Phillips (Mike) of Putney, GA, his brother George Barrett (Joan) of Lee Co., GA, grandchildren Anthony Phillips (Angela Goza) of Social Circle, GA, Kelly King (James) of Lee Co., GA and Keith Phillips (Chelsey) of Worth Co., GA and great-grandchildren Julian Phillips and Hazeleigh Phillips.
