Louie "Lovette" Monroe

Louie "Lovette" Monroe, 72, of Leesburg, GA passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at Hope City Hospital in Newnan, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Philema Road Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron McCulley will officiate. Interment will follow in Thundering Springs Cemetery.

Lovette loved hunting, fishing, and the Georgia Bulldogs.  He enjoyed riding his mule and visiting with his neighbors. His greatest love was his family and his grandbabies.  He will be greatly missed by all. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Herbert Monroe, Jr. and Reba Jeanette Wisham Monroe and his siblings, James Monroe and Kay Florence.

Survivors include, his wife, Sue McCrary Monroe, Leesburg, GA, sons, William (Bill) Lovette Monroe, Leesburg, GA, John Thomas Monroe, Charleston, SC, daughter, Jeannie Monroe Bradford (Mickey), Columbia, SC, sister, Judy Monroe Fajardo (Ramon), Leesburg, GA, sister-in-law, Gayle Monroe, Leesburg, GA, six grandchildren and three-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Philema Road Baptist Church.
