Lorraine Boucher Deese

Lorraine Boucher Deese, 86, died Monday, September 4, 2023.

Her funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home with a private interment to follow.  Rev. Francois Pellissier officiating.

Born in Springfield, MA, Mrs. Deese had lived in Albany since 1957 and loved bowling, bingo, and was a member of the Moose Lodge.  She was the “neighborhood” mom not only caring for her children but looking after the other children as well and was a faithful military wife and the cheer leader for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Deese, Sr., son John Deese, grandson Dylan Deese, and two great-granddaughters Raven Alexandria Deese and Layla Mae Kirkwood. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Debra Brock of Albany, GA, Terry Faircloth and her husband Tim, Lawrenceville, GA and Penny Tarleton and her husband Bruce, Calhoun, MO, five surviving sons, George L. Deese, Jr., Deatsville, AL, Randy Deese and his wife, Stephanie, Albany, GA, Danny Deese, Sylvester, GA, Brian Deese and his wife, Tammy, Albany, GA and Chris Deese, Leesburg, GA, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, brothers Tommy Percey, Chuck Persey, Davey Percey and Johnny Percey. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
