Lola Carol Howell Taliaferro Chambless

Lola Carol Howell Taliaferro Chambless, 82, of Leesburg, GA passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Private graveside funeral services at Oak Grove Cemetery, Arlington, GA. Rev. Jackie Williams will officiate.

Born in Arlington, GA, Mrs. Chambless was retired from the Bank of Edison and played the organ for events at "The Oaks" to the delight of the residents. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Clay Howell and Lola Vines Howell and her husbands, Charley W. Taliaferro and Harry Chambless.        

Survivors include her sons, Clarence (Clay) Taliaferro and wife Claire and Charles Wilton (Chuck) Taliaferro both of Albany, GA, a sister, Sherry Howell Clenney, Peachtree City, GA, a grandson, Matthew (Kristi), four-great-grandchildren and a fur baby, Daisy.
