Linda Oma Power Smith

Linda Power Smith, 68, of Albany, GA., died Tuesday January 10, 2012 at Willson Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Thursday January 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. John A. Jones will officiate.

A native of Alpharetta, GA., Mrs. Smith moved to Albany, Ga. in 1952 and had lived and worked in Thomasville, GA. and Albany, GA. most all of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albany.

Survivors include her husband, Reeves Smith, Albany, GA, two sons, Reeves Smith, Jr. Lilburn, GA. and Scott Smith ( Jessica ), Lawrenceville, GA. two brothers, Alva Darvis Power and Ray Power both of Albany, GA., a sister, Marie Katherine White, Panacea, FL and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Mathews Funeral Home following the service.
