Laura Jean Moye

Laura Jean Moye, 82, of Thomasville, formerly of Albany, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Legacy Village.

Her funeral service will be Sunday 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery in Mitchell County.  Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate.

Born in Geneva County, AL, Mrs. Moye had lived in Albany since 1974 before moving to Thomasville in 2018. She retired from AGE (Renasant Bank) as Member and Service Supervisor and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Tony Moye (Velvet), Steve Moye (Nancy), grandchildren, Kyle Moye, Miranda Moye Gibson (Ben), Kimberlynn Moye, Bryce Moye, Grason Moye, great grandchildren Amelia Gibson, Bennett Gibson and sister in law, Nancy McRee.

The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
