Larry Dean Williams

Larry Dean Williams, 76, of Terrell/Lee County, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Willson Hospice House with family by his side.

His memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Philema Road Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron McCulley will officiate.

Born in Dawson, Mr. Williams was a graduate of Terrell County High School. He bought/ran the IGA Store in Shellman for many years. Sometime after the grocery business, he transitioned to the trucking industry working/retiring from Watkins/Fed-Ex for over thirty years. When he was not working, he loved, fishing, cooking/eating, camping and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Helen Frances Witt Williams.

Survivors include his former wife of 25 years Connie Hamby Kearns, daughter, Lorie Williams Brown (Russell), grandchildren, Luke Pressley (Haley Hammock), Dusty Pressley, Levi Lynam, Preston Brown (Ashlyn Tew), Cameron Brown (Ashley Herrod), London Brown, great grandchildren, Averie Brown, Kashton Brown, Paislee Pressley and Kannon Brown.

The family will receive friends after service.
