LaDonna Gayle Mitchem, 72, of Albany, GA passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mark Walker will officiate.

She was born in Evansville, Indiana and retired from the Dougherty County School System as a nutritionist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Norman Moesner and Mary Lee Wright Moesner and her husband, Lundy Ray Mitchem.

Survivors include her children, Leslie Tarleton and husband Chris Tarleton, Hixson, TX and Renae Brown and husband, Tom Brown, Albany, GA and grandchildren, Jocelyn Tarleton, Adaline Tarleton, Brody Brown and Cade Tarleton.
