Kyle Austin Summers

Kyle Austin Summers, age 35, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, in Albany, Georgia. A private celebration of Kyle’s life will be held by his family at a later date.

Born in Georgetown, South Carolina, Kyle spent his early years growing up in Pawley’s Island and Rock Hill, SC. With a rambling soul and a curious spirit, Kyle traveled widely and lived in many places across the United States, leaving behind a trail of friendships and memories in every city and town he called home.

He is survived by his father, Jimmie Summers; his sister, Starla Echague (Vic); his beloved nephews, Odin and Ciel; his cousin, Sherry Summers Bond (Mike); His dearest friend, Barbie Carter, whom he cherished as a sister, and her two sons, Zach and Ethan.

 Kyle was preceded in death by his stepmother, Teresa Summers. Each of them holds cherished memories of Kyle’s vibrant presence, sharp wit, and compassionate heart.

Kyle’s journey through life was uniquely his own, filled with both searching and discovery, challenge and joy. Those who knew and loved him find comfort in knowing that he has now found peace and that his search is over.
