Kent Griffin Adam

Kent G. Adam, 50, of Leesburg, GA, died May 10, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Stan Glass will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Hot Springs, AR, Kent moved with his family from Philadelphia, PA when he was young. He was a 1982 graduate of Worth Academy and attended Darton College. He was a skilled electrician, was currently employed with J.E. Knight Electric and also loved working in the yard and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Adam, a son, James Calvin (J.C.) Adam, his parents, Jim and Judy Adam, all of Leesburg, GA, a sister, Jeyme Adam of Eufaula, AL, two nephews, Timothy Collier of Albany, GA and Brandon Barfield of Ellaville, GA, a niece, Jessica Collier of Ellaville, GA, two great-nephews and one great-niece.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
