Kenneth Eugene "Ken" Nichols

Kenneth Eugene "Ken" Nichols, 70, of Americus, GA formerly Albany, GA  went to be Home with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 27, 2025 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Westview Baptist Church, Albany, GA. Rev. Grady Morey will officiate. 

Born and raised in Albany, GA, Ken was a 1974 graduate of Dougherty County High School  where he played football. Ken moved to Americus, GA ten years ago and was employed with Akins Petroleum Company until his retirement. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. 

He was an active hunter and he loved to mow his grass and he cherished the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene E. Nichols and Inez Whaley Nichols.

Survivors include his Wife, Sheryl Robison Nichols, Americus, GA, step sons, Scott McLean, Oscoda, MI, Matthew McLean and his wife Kathie, Kennesaw, GA, and grandchildren, Makayleigh McLean and Matthew McLean, Jr. and several cousins.
