Kenneth Moag

Kenneth Edward Moag, 83, of Albany, died Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his residence. 

His funeral service will be Thursday 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home with interment at 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Rebecca, GA. Pastor Bill Kreiser will officiate. 

Born in Wellsville, NY and grew in Pennsylvania, working on a potato farm, dairy, Worthington and a lumber jack. After high school he joined the U. S. Air Force and then went to work with MCLB as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member and deacon of Chirstian Covenant Church. 

In his free time Mr. Moag enjoyed fishing, hunting working on cars and reading his bible. 

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilkerson Moag, daughter, Lisa M. Cournoyer (Marc), sons, Herbert E. Moag (Heidi), Johnathan C. Moag (Nicole), grandchildren, Herbert Mitchell Moag, Makala Marie Rivas, Genevieve Cournoyer, Angeline Cournoyer, Johnathan Garrett Moag, Seairra Elizabeth Moag, Kenneth James Moag, his brother Bill Moag (Gerry), niece and nephews, Mark, Mike and Vickie. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. 

Those desiring please make memorials to Wounded Warriors Project and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
