Jyl Jennings Goodson

Jyl Jennings Goodson, 63, of Albany, GA died February 6, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A native of Blakely, GA, Ms. Goodson was born to the late Guy and Sallie Jennings. Ms. Goodson earned a nursing degree from Darton College. She worked as a registered nurse for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Goodson. Survivors include a stepson, Billy R. Goodson (Gina), two grandsons, James “Billy” Goodson (Kim) and Matthew R. Goodson (Rachel), a sister, Jan Collins, two nieces, Terri Collins Martin, and Tracy Collins. At Jyl’s request, she was cremated without funeral or memorial services.
