June Marie Medlock Glover

June Marie Medlock Glover, 90, of Albany, GA passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Free will Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Private entombment at Crown Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum.

June Marie Glover, known as “Mrs.G” could be found at the ballpark by the side of her husband of seventy-two years “Mr.G”. No matter the day, time or weather you could always count on her to be keeping score at every game. She had eleven grandkids and fifteen great grandkids which she loved and cherished with all her heart and soul. She loved to travel which included seven trips to the orphanage in Brazil, the last one at age 82. 

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, Southern Gospel music and the Atlanta Braves. Early in life she could be found at Gospel sings and church events where she planted seeds of her deep Chirstian faith. Everyone that knew her was guaranteed to be laughing at her humorous stories and witty personality. As her dementia worsened, it may have stolen her memory and thoughts, but it was never able to take her joy and laughter away. Even in her last days she managed to make those around her smile in her own special way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Albert Medlock and Mamie Louise Maddox and siblings, Ronnie Medlock, Billy Medlock and Mike Medlock. 

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Frank Glover, Albany, GA, sons, Rodney Dale Glover (Denise), Chittenago, NY, Dillard Glover (Tisha), Albany, GA, Steven Ray Glover (Diana), Leesburg, GA, Jackie Glover (Niki), Leesburg, GA, siblings, Bobby Medlock, Albany, GA, Tommy Medlock, Ackworth, GA,, Margaret English, Diane Dishman (Rodney) and Lisa Johnson (Ron) all of the Atlanta, GA area. Her grandchildren, Rodney Glover, Allison Timms, Shelby Drumgold, Whitney Blackwell, Kendal Bullard, Easton Glover, Garrett Glover, Colton Glover, Shay Fowler, Mikenna Glover, Talon Glover. Her great-grandchildren, Rodney Glover (RJ), Brendan Glover, Colby Glover, Anakin Glover, Lincoln Drumgold, Theo Drumgold, Carter Blackwell, Jameson Blackwell, Tallie Glover, Tess Glover, Keaton Fowler, Ryker Fowler, Finley Fowler, Emmitt Glover, and Sawyer Cook. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at First Free Will Baptist Church.
