Judith Carol "Judy" Lowry

Judith Carol "Judy" Lowry, 78, of Albany, GA, passed away Monday at St. Frances Hospital in Columbus, GA. Private  funeral services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A celebration of life service will be held March 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at WellSpring Revival Center, 212 N. Washington St., Albany, GA, 31701.

Judy spent her life serving the Lord. She loved Jesus with all her heart. She was known for her love and kindness to everyone. Her mission was to see the hurting and brokenhearted find healing, joy and freedom in Jesus. She was known for her joy and laughter and incredible compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jethro's Coffee and Community Center, jethroscoffee.com, where she served the community faithfully.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred John Lowry, III, daughters, Joanna Lowry Gurr and her husband Jon Gurr and Erin Lowry all of Albany, GA, brothers, Bill Jones (Myra), Chickamauga, GA, Chris Jones (Jenny), Manassas, VA, grandchild, Eloise C. Gurr and nieces and nephews.
