Jorge Masa Obono

Jorge Masa Obono, 18, of Leesburg, GA, died Monday, November 28, 2011, at his residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Sherwood Baptist Church. Rev. John Spencer and Rev. Ty Greene will officiate.

Jorge was a native of Equtorial Guinea and was fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic. He was a Senior at Lee County High where he played soccer and attended advanced classes. Jorge was active in the First Baptist Church of Leesburg Youth Group, a sports enthusiast, comical and loved the beach. Rather than lie, he'd say nothing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jorge Massa.

Survivors include, his mother, Maria Reina Obono Pullen and her husband, Jeffrey of Leesburg, GA, cousin and adopted sister, Diana Ondjigue Obono of Leesburg, GA, grandmother, Delores Ondjigue Obono of Equatorial Guinea, three aunts, Irene Ondjigue Obono of Equatorial Guinea, JoAnn Pullen Kane of Lewes, DE and Susan Pullen Cottrell of Bricktown, NJ and one uncle, Florentino Ondjigue Obono of Equatorial Guinea.
