Jonathan Lee (John) Skaggs

Jonathan Lee (John) Skaggs, 60, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Dr. William D. (Biff) Coker will officiate.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. Skaggs had resided in Albany, GA since 1977. He was in construction management at MCLB-Albany and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Debbi Skaggs, Albany, GA, a son, Chris Hartsfield, Valdosta, GA, two daughters, Jessica Suber, Savannah, GA, Christie Surface, Albany, GA, a sister, two brothers, six grandchildren and a nephew, Dean Skaggs of Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
