Johnny Edward Thomas, Jr

Johnny Edward Thomas, Jr., 59, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate.

A native of Blountstown, FL, Mr. Thomas had resided in Albany, GA since 1978 moving from the Panama City, FL area. He was owner and operator of Thomas Transportation. He was a member of the IHRA and Nettle Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Thomas, Albany, GA, two sons, James Edward Thomas (Karen), Joseph Edward Thomas (Melissa) both of Leesburg, GA, two daughters, Brandy Roland (David), Albany, GA, Donna Joiner, Thomasville, GA, his father, Johnny Edward Thomas, Sr., Albany, GA. and his mother, Dorothy Jean Dudley, Blountstown, FL, two sisters, Gailen Lock, Blountstown, FL, and Debbie Hatcher (Lamar), Marianna, FL and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the services at Mathews Funeral Home.
