John L. Hampton

Mr. John L. Hampton, 70, of Leesburg, GA. Died September 3, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, GA., with Military Honors.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.  Mr. Hampton was born February 14, 1951 in Albany, GA, son of the late John Edward Hampton, Jr. and Josephine Beverly Hampton. He served in the Navy and the Marine Corps and was a retired diesel mechanic, having worked for Honeywell. He is survived by his son Jason Hampton of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Sarah Hampton and Luke Hampton both of Atlanta, GA, his brother Thomas Hampton (Wanda) of Atlanta, GA and his sister Barbara Arnold (L.J.) of Leesburg, GA.
