John Douglas Brasington, Sr.

John Douglas Brasington, Sr., 48, of Leesburg, GA died Monday, September 9, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Albany VFW Post 2785, located at 315 Philema Road from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Born in Albany, GA, Mr. Brasington attended Darton College. He worked with his father, owner of Brasington Construction, specializing in residential construction. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Wayne Brasington and his brother, David Brasington.

Survivors include one son, John D. Brasington, II and his wife Dawn of Leesburg, GA, his mother, Betty Jane Brasington, Albany, GA, his brother, Rodney Brasington and wife Christie, Palmetto, FL, grandchildren, Aiden, Annabelle, and Evelynn, and nephews Chris, Alex, and Byron.
