John Lawrence Boyer

John Lawrence Boyer, 76, of Baker County, GA, died June 21, 2024 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church. Marty Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. 

John was born in Albany, GA on July 18, 1947 to John C. and Martha H. Boyer. He graduated from Albany Highs School and was employed with The Albany Fire Department for twenty-seven years. John was also an over the road trucker and enjoyed riding his Harley and playing guitar in several bands. He was a member of Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church, he was a Master Mason and member of Triangle Lodge # 708 F&AM. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Boyer Blaxton.  

Survivors include his wife, Reba Hudson Boyer of Baker County, GA, his son, Chris Boyer and a granddaughter, Madison Boyer both of Lee County, GA. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the sanctuary of Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church.
