Joel "Joe" Johnson Miller

Joel “Joe” Johnson Miller, 40, of Lee County, GA, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 in Jacksonville, FL. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Steve Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Leesburg Cemetery.

Joe was born at Ft. Benning, GA on December 20, 1985 to Hayden and Kimberly Miller. His family moved to Americus, GA and then to Albany, GA where he grew up. Joe followed in his families’ footsteps as an electrician and was employed with Georgia Electric. He enjoyed golfing and deer hunting. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Hayden Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Whitney Miller, his son, Isaac Johnson and grandson, Briar Joel, and his mother, Kimberly (Steve) Johnson all of Lee County, GA, his siblings, Noah Miller of Worth County, GA, Moses (Ava) Miller of Lubick, TX, Nathan (Marc) Miller of Atlanta, GA, Caleb Miller, Ruth Miller and Faith (Kyle) Soto all of Lee County, GA, his grandparents, Linn and Laurie Smith of Lee County, GA and nieces and nephews, Andrew, Sarah, Gracie, Josh, Timmy, Matthew, Eben Joel, Taylon, Robert, Sam and Tom.
