Joe Ed Littleton

Joe Ed Littleton, 79, of Bridgeboro, GA. died Friday, July 28, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.

Born in Albany, GA, Mr. Littleton served his country in the United States Army where he was a paratrooper and a ranger. He continued his service by working and retiring from the Marine Corps Logistics Base. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois Littleton, two brothers, David Littleton and Robert Littleton, two sisters, Grace L. McGough and Irma L. Rodenburger, four sisters in laws, Betty N. Littleton, Ann M. Littleton, Sarah P. Ryan and Marion P. Sandlin and five brother in laws, Charles A. McGough, Leon Rodenburger, David F. Peterman, Frank Newsom and Jake Sandlin.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Judy Peterman Littleton, a daughter Marnie L Mayher and her husband Bill, two granddaughters, Macy Pagan and her husband, Hector and Emily Mayher, a great granddaughter, Leah Kate Pagan, two brothers, Raymond Littleton and Donnie Littleton, two sisters, Geneva L Hay and Ruby L. Altizer, three sisters in laws, Carolyn S. Littleton, Suzanne P. Newsome and Jean W. Peterman and two brother in laws, Jack Alitzer and Charles Ryan.

The family would like to give special thanks to Phoebe Hospice, Dawn Ellis, Katrina Hamilton, Kenya, Catheline, Jocelyn and the entire staff at Willson Hospice House. “We could not have made it without them the last three years”
