Joe Coxwell

Joseph F. “Joe” Coxwell, 74, of Terrell County, GA, died September 22, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Bronwood Baptist Church.  Rev. Jeff Carter will officiate.  A private family interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.

Mr. Coxwell was born in Dawson, GA on December 26, 1947 to Jack and Bertha Coxwell.   He grew up in Terrell County where he attended school and lived all of his life.  He was a member of Bronwood Baptist Church and was employed in the pecan and peanut industry most of his working career.  He loved to fish, visit the Senior Citizens Center and do for others.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Danny Coxwell, Bobby Coxwell and Billy Coxwell

Survivors include his siblings, Mary McPherson, Jimmy Coxwell and Lee (Norma Jean) Coxwell all of Terrell County, GA, Jeannette Long of Montgomery, AL and Wesley Coxwell of Guyton, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday before the service at Bronwood Baptist Church.
