Jerry Joe Goforth

Jerry Joe Goforth, 82, of Leesburg, GA passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Willson Hospice House. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at their residence from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Jerry was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 15, 1943. Jerry retired from Southern Bell after 30 years of service as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, lawnmower/engine repair and his hobby was artistic painting, a self taught artist. Well-respected and kind, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Goforth and Christine Griffith Goforth and a grandson, Nathan Gottschalk.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Floyd Goforth, Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Crystal Goforth Gottschalk (Tom), Sebring, FL and grandchildren, Allison Gottschalk and Madelyn Gottschalk.
