Jerry Benjamin Caldwell, Sr., 73, of Albany, GA, died June 4, 2014 at his residence. No services have been scheduled at this time.

Born in Dothan, AL, Mr. Caldwell had resided in Worth Co. and Dougherty Co. most of his life. He was a veteran serving in the Air Force and was retired from Merck & Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Forrest Caldwell and Annie Pryor Gunn Caldwell and a son, Jerry B. Caldwell, Jr.

Survivors include a son, Christopher C. Caldwell, Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Jennifer Ann Vonier (Hansel), Cordele, GA, the mother of his children, Margaret Caldwell and six grandchildren.
