Jency Theresa Reardon

Jency Theresa Reardon, 88, of Lee County, GA, died November 19, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Lakeside Baptist Church.  Rev. Ken Chancellor and Rev. Andrew Kornegay will officiate.  Interment will follow in Thundering Springs Cemetery. 

Mrs. Reardon was born on October 1, 1934 in Lanier County, GA to W.C and Flossie Watson.  She grew up in Lakeland, GA and graduated from Lanier County High School in 1952.  She moved to Albany, GA in 1961 and on to Lee County, GA in 1973.  Mrs. Reardon was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and the Pastor’s Sunday School Class.  She was employed with Southern Concrete/Florida Rock for eighteen years and later in life she enjoyed coloring books, word puzzles and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include, her daughter, Debbie Cook and her husband Alton Cook of Lee County, GA; her son, Louis Brantley of Nashville, GA; four granddaughters: Stacie Hamsley (Keith), Karen Cross (Jason) all of Lee County, GA, Tara Starling (Matt) of Nashville, GA and Leann Carter (Nick) of Berrien County; 6 Great-Grandchildren: Chandler Cross, TC Brantley, Reese Hamsley, Ella Hamsley, Cannon Hamsley, Alysa Carter and Eli Carter; her brother, Russell Watson of Hampton, Florida.

 The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Tuesday before the service at Lakeside Baptist Church.
