Jayne Pettigrew Barkley

Jayne Pettigrew Barkley, 91, of Albany, GA, died October 20, 2011 at Morningside Assisted Living. A celebration of life service will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Bell will officiate.

A native of Burlington, NC, Mrs. Barkley had resided in Albany, GA for the past two and half years moving from Gainesville, FL. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Barkley was preceded in death by her husband, William V. Barkley, Sr. her son Bob Barkley and a grandson, Jeremy Palmer.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Gayle and Cranston Scott of Bradenton, FL, two sons and their wives, William and Kay Barkley of Gallion, AL and Jimmy and Iris Barkley of Weaverville, NC, daughter-in-law, Naomi Barkley of Albany, GA, eleven grandchildren, Robbie Barkley, Brenna Barkley, Michelle Faircloth, Becca Purdy, Kevin Barkley, Auburn Stowe, Ashley Seagrave, Allison Mashburn, Cortney Patton, Kimberly Reynolds and Cranston Scott, Jr. and twenty great-grandchildren
