Jamie Stephen Lyon

Jamie Stephen Lyon, 38, of Baconton, GA passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Merry Acres Events Center, 1500 Dawson Rd., Albany, GA, 31707 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Jamie was born in Albany, Ga but he grew up in Conyers, Ga. He graduated from Salem High school in 2002. Jamie played football and baseball growing up. Jamie loved making people smile even from an early age. He was a fun laid back kid who always enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Jamie developed an interest in culinary arts after high-school and pursued a career in the restaurant business. 

Jamie was the general manager of Harvest Moon for the last six years. His favorite color was baby blue. He had a heart of gold and a listening ear for all with the best bears hugs for any body that needed one. Jamie was a man full of 2nd chances and plaid shirts. He made an imprint on many lives that will never fade away. Rest easy Jamie Lyon and fly high. We love you always and forever. 

Survivors include his fiancé , Julie Walsh, son, Donald Brooks Lyon and step-daughter, Anna Walsh all of Baconton, GA, mother, Martha Inlow Lyon, Albany, GA, sisters, Lacy McClendon (Alan), Mansfield, GA, Leslie Marie Boutwell, Watkinsville, GA and nieces and nephews, Grace Ann McClendon, Landon Boutwell, Isaac McClendon, Madie Boutwell, Wren McClendon, Claire McClendon and Bonnie McClendon
