James Gerald Tillery

James Gerald Tillery, 61, of Barnesville, GA, formerly of Albany, GA died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Tillery will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Colquitt Co., GA., Mr. Tillery had resided in Albany, GA before moving to Barnesville, GA sixteen years ago. He was a member of Lilla Memorial Baptist Church in Barnesville, GA and was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Kendall Tillery and Juanita Watson Tillery and a brother-in-law, Rev. Albert Satten, Jr.
Survivors include his son, James Steven Tillery, Ozark, AL, two brothers, Randy Tillery, Albany, GA and Rev. Roger Tillery (Kathie), Worth Co., GA., a sister, Lequita Satten, Albany, GA, two grandsons, Michael Shawn Tillery and Mason Kyle Tillery and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
