James Boyce Germany, Sr.

James Boyce Germany Sr., 65, of Albany, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 (location to be announced).

Born and raised in Albany, Boyce spent over three decades working with Wayne’s Radiator Shop. He was known for his skill in his trade and his love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Shirley Germany Sr., and his sister, Vickie Thelma Lashley.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Germany Grubb (Jason); his son, J.B. Germany (Tonya); his brother, James Wayne Germany Jr.; his sister, Connie Diane Jackson (James); and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
