James Bruce Folmar

James Bruce (Jim) Folmar, 84, of Albany, GA passed away Friday, June 19, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home followed by military honors. Interment will be private.

Born in Albany, GA and a life long resident, Mr. Folmar and was a graduate of the University of Georgia, a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy, and was the retired manager of Cummins South. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude B. Folmar and Rachel Willis Folmar.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Schramm Folmar, sons, Cameron Folmar, Queens, NY, Jason Kenneth Folmar, Albany, GA and a brother, Rodney A. Folmar and his wife, Janice, Birmingham, AL.

The family will receive friends following the services at Mathews Funeral Home.
