James Henry (Hank) Duggan

The funeral service of James Henry (Hank) Duggan, 66, of Americus, GA formerly of Leesburg, GA who died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Elder Billy Lathem will officiate.

A native of Waycross, GA, Hank had lived in Americus, GA for the past eight years moving from Lee County, GA. He was a Courier for SOWEGA Council on Aging and was of the Independent Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Henry Duggan and Maybell Strickland Duggan and a son Jamie Duggan.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Duggan of Americus, GA, three daughters, Chandra (Mike) Wiesner of Americus, GA, Wendy (Lee) Hamilton of Waycross, GA and April (Curt) Lauderdale of Lafayette, AL, three sons, Lee (April) Stinson of Winchester, TN, Jeremy Duggan of Waycross, GA and Josh (Buffy) Duggan of Waycross, GA, two sisters, Lillian (Wesley) Horne of Dothan, AL and Shirley (Harry) Watts of Waycross, GA, a brother, Wayne (Bernice) Duggan of Waycross, GA , thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
