James Marvin Davidson

James Marvin Davidson, 80, of Leesburg, GA., died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Leesburg City Cemetery.

A native of Colquitt Co., GA., Mr. Davidson had resided in Leesburg, GA., for the past fifty years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy, a former Lee County Building Inspector and worked with Ray Lloyd Construction. He owned Marvin Davidson Home Builders before his retirement and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg.

Survivors include his wife, Ardelle Dale Davidson, Leesburg, GA., a son Jim Davidson (Freida), Bethlehem, GA., a daughter, Jill Davidson Carr (John), Leesburg, GA. and a grandson, Stuart Colin Anderson, Leesburg, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
