James Ronald Cox

James Ronald Cox, 88, of Lee County, GA died peacefully at home on January 31, 2023. 

James was born on May 7, 1934, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late James Robert Cox and Bessie Mae Suggs. He graduated from Moultrie High School. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War era and guarded the Fulda Gap in Germany. James worked 15 years at McGregor Brunswick and over 30 years at Miller Brewing Company in the warehouse department. He was a wonderful father and husband. 

James loved to draw beautiful pen and ink drawings of places he saw in Europe during his army days. He spent many days in his front porch swing with a good mystery or Christian book.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, George Cox.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vanna M. Cox, son, Kevin Cox, daughter, Karen Cox all of Lee County, Georgia, and nieces and nephews.
