Jack Brian Justice

Jack Brian Justice, 59, of Albany, GA changed his address from earth to Heaven and moved on to his reward on Wednesday, September 7, 2021.  Graveside services will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Pastor Glen Robinson will officiate. Family and friends will be received Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

Jackie was always a joy to be with and will be missed by all of the many people he has met through the years.  Among those are the brothers and sisters of Heritage Baptist Church where he was a member, friends in the Albany area and the many friends and care personnel from Primus which are too numerous to name. 

Jackie loved God and wanted to be in church with his church family. He was always happy to take care of the responsibilities given to him in the church.  He enjoyed playing the piano for offering at the church and visiting Pruitt Palmyra and Pruitt Sylvester Nursing Homes where he also played specials on the piano and sang in the church group.

Jackie also enjoyed bowling and being with his many bowling friends. He enjoyed a good NASCAR race and liked to talk about his favorite drivers.

Jackie never met a stranger and was a kind soul and beloved friend to everyone that ever knew him.  Even during his illness, he was always thinking of others, always wanted to know what was preached on at church when he couldn’t be there and he always wanted to make it known that he was praying for everyone in his church.

Jackie was preceded in death by both of his parents Jack Walton and Alice Juanita Justice, sister Nancy Kay Justice, and his brothers Thomas Wayne Justice and John Walton Justice.

He is survived by his niece Leigh Justice, nephew Jeff Justice (Tisha) all of San Antonio, TX, great niece Kaylin Justice of Hillsboro, MO, cousins Susan Cummings Hotard of Acworth, GA, James Cummings, Jr. (Ruth) of Baltimore, MD, Noel Justice of Bloomington, IN, Joseph Justice of Grabill, IN, Rebecca Justice-Schaab (Thomas) of Auburn, IN, and Larry King (Marie) of Columbus, GA.
